Chapman Cares

Some employers make community involvement mandatory. Here at Chapman Chevrolet, employees make a difference in the lives of others by choice. From volunteering at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event to donating gifts and time to Toys for Tots, our employees take pride in helping others. Every opportunity to give back is a chance to make a difference in the community they work and live in.

In the past year, Chapman Chevrolet employees made Christmas brighter for children at De Colores in west Phoenix, participated in a golf tournament to help Canine Companions for Independence, collected truckloads of toys for Toys for Tots, and walked as a team in the making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.

Thousands of people, young and old, participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event at Tempe Beach Park. As a sponsorship partner, Chapman Chevrolet brought the Breast Cancer Pace Car, driven by Danica Patrick. Chapman employees participated in the walk, helping to raise thousands of dollars for breast cancer research.

This past Christmas Eve the volunteers of Brazos Abiertos, visited "De Colores," a shelter for single and abused mothers located on the West side of Phoenix. They had a party for the children, and Santa brought gifts and winter clothing. Brazos Abiertos is supported by Chapman and Freeway Chevrolet.

When Santa says "Stuff the Truck!" he means it. And the employees and customers of Chapman Chevrolet always follow Santa's orders. During the holidays, enough toys were donated to stuff five trucks full of gifts to take to Toys for Tots. Without this community effort, many children would have been without toys during the holiday season.
